Layers
Animated Home Rule

The first new feature is the Layer feature. What this allows is layering pictures or text over other pictures or text. For example, below is a normal picture and text group.

Now, here is the same picture and text, using layers.

The background can be made transparent as well, but this color text would be unreadable in that case. Now, you may be saying that you have already seen images that look like this. True enough, except that it would be a single image, taking up far more memory and taking longer to load. This allows the same effect with an advantage in space and speed.
